Quick and easy interior summer styling tips

With summer in full swing, we’re embracing the longer nights and warmer days with friends and family. If like many others, you want to make your home feel more summery but don’t want to redecorate then don’t worry, you don’t have to. Below are a few quick and easy ways to spruce up your home this summer.

 

Add fresh summer flowers or a new plant

Think along the lines of Sunflowers, Peonies, Mixed Stocks, Orange Jessamine or Gardenia. These not only look beautiful but will add a gentle, fresh fragrance to your home too.

Add pops of bright, fresh colours

For summer, you could use brighter, more vibrant sofa cushions or ones that reflect the botanical trend.

Or, it could be as simple as a bowl of citrus fruit like lemons, limes, grapefruit, oranges on the kitchen table. Perfect for the evening tipples too!

Accessories

Swap the heavy, winter throws for lighter, natural cotton or even linen throws.

Or, you could use summer-inspired or themed tea towels such as wildflowers, botanicals, fruits.

Finally, look for fresh and citrusy summer candles for those long evenings.
